'It's Fate' Final Sequence

Preliminary Task

Our preliminary task taught us a lot about filming and editing. When we first started filming it all went smoothly. It was when we came to edit that we found some problems. We found that we had filmed some shots landscape and some portrait which meant that we had to rotate the shots. We had to do this in final cut express and eventually it finally worked out. This task taught us how to do the basics in final cut express. Doing this task helped us a lot when it came to finally editing our final sequence.

Evaluation: Question 4

Question 4: Who would be the audience for your media product?

Age- 11-19 years old (due to the themes and narrative)
Gender- Predominantly female (due to the genre and themes of love and romance)
Nationality- Any
Tastes in media- Romance or 'feel good' films
Film consumption habits- Romance, comedy or rom-com
fans- rom-com fans (expecting to see: romance, love, happy endings)

We thought age 11-19 years old would be a good audience age range as a lot of this age group go to the cinema. These people would most likely be middle class, this would be because the characters are middle class and so the audience would be able to easily relate to the characters.
