Feedback

We showed the rest of our class our opening sequence and they gave us feedback. We got positive comments about the shots including comments like 'good point of view shot' and 'great variety of shots'. People also said that they liked how it showed both people getting ready because it established both the main characters. One person also said that they 'loved the scene where both went downstairs and leave the house'. This was very reassuring to hear as it gave us an idea that it was an effective opening sequence. We also got comments saying that the story line and plot were easy to understand which also meant that we had made a clear and understandable opening sequence and plot.
As well as having positive comments we also got given some constructive criticism. One person made a suggestion to have two different alarm sounds which we changed so that it did use different alarms. Someone also said that the camera was a bit shaky at times and there was in continuity in the corridor when the girl is running but during a reverse shot you can't see her. We took the criticism on board but we could not use every suggestion. We changed it where we could so that it made sense and were happy with the result.
Overall, the feedback was a positive thing to do as it helped us to change our idea so that it had the best possible story line and shots as possible. It was also very useful to have other peoples opinions who didn't know the plot or had no clue about the planning
